Mandy McClaren hung up her heels and crown to become a proud member of the On Mission Motorsports non-profit organization. Growing up in Lawrenceburg, TN, Mandy never spent time in the off-road world as both her parents were in the Lawrence County School System as educators and spent time beside her dad who was the high school principal and TSSAA Coaching Hall of Fame member at ball games, taking multiple dance classes for 14 years with Ballet being her favorite, and later on being a cheerleader in her middle and high school years.
Mandy is a new racer and can be found behind the wheel of a Can-Am X3 Turbo equipped with state-of- the art safety equipment. Mandy developed a passion for racing after just one trip with On Mission Motorsports back in 2020. Over the past couple of years, she has honed her skills and become a respected competitor in the world of motorsports as a woman with long distance endurance races being her specialty as well as the struggle of battling Type 1 diabetes while since the age of 8 years old.
Beyond racing, Mandy is known for her multiple state and National titles in pageants like Mrs. Tennessee and National Elite Mrs. As well as multiple modeling contracts for New York and Nashville Fashion Weeks. She is a mom of 5 and married to On Mission Motorsports team member Eric McClaren AKA Pit Dad. Mandy also frequently participates in charitable events like Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Nashville and donates a portion of their race winnings to support causes that are important to them and the On Mission Motorsports organization. Mandy McClaren is a true inspiration, both on and off the track, and is an integral part of the On Mission Motorsports team. If you were to ask Mandy about one of her favorite parts of being on the On Mission Motorsports Team besides the camaraderie that it offers, it is that she enjoys the challenge of being a female competitor in a male dominated industry as a type 1 diabetic.
