Eric McClaren (AKA Pit Dad) is a talented race car driver and is a board member of On Mission Motorsports, a non-profit organization. Eric began his racing passion at a young age racing motocross. Later in life Eric passed down his racing boots to equip his sons when they got into motocross themselves. Multiple years and dirt bikes, later Eric stumbled upon On Mission Motorsports at a flat track veteran fundraising event and knew he wanted to get involved. Eric has always been interested in off road racing growing up and was looking for a new hobby for his daughter Annalee, who was equally interested. Since that time, Eric has been highly involved with On Mission Motorsports and coined the name Pit Dad for his fast tire changing and fuel stops.
Eric is not only a skilled driver but also a committed member of the On Mission Motorsports team. As a non-profit organization, On Mission Motorsports aims to support and empower our veterans and first responders by providing comradery, connectedness and adrenaline therapy to our American Heroes at NO cost to them. Eric shares this mission and is dedicated to giving back to those who have served our country.
Beyond racing, Eric is married to On Mission Motorsports Driver Mandy McClaren who he coaches through the track as well as Dad to Annalee who is learning to be a up and coming driver at the age of 15. Eric always has the can-do attitude and is willing to help out wherever he is needed during a race or any other event. Eric and his wife Mandy live in Lawrenceburg, TN with their children. Eric is an inspiration, both on and off the track, and is an integral part of the On Mission Motorsports team.
